Connect: After the customer receives notification of an available Wi-Fi access and services, that customer can securely connect.

Cisco CMX License 

Cisco CMX licenses are required to enable different functionality and all licenses are per access point. There are three types of CMX licenses available:  

CMX Base license: by using this licensing type the ability to determine the location of Wi-Fi clients, interfering devices (such as microwaves and BLE Beacons), and calculated location for RFID tags would be provided, Location APIs for use by Cisco DNAC and Cisco Prime and the ability to run on an Active/Standby pair would be provided.  

CMX Advanced license: This type of licensing Includes all the CMX Base services plus, Partner stream for sending raw RSSI values of RFID tags to partner applications, Visitor Wi-Fi onboarding platform, CMX Analytics, CMX Connectors, Location and Location Analytics API for use by 3rd parties and CMX Presence Analytics features.  

MX Upgrade license: This license is using for upgrading all base to advanced features.
