Cisco MDS 9250i Switch is a Rack-mountable with 2RU form factor and consists of 30 ports (20 x 16Gb Fibre Channel SFP+ + 8 x 10 Gb FCoE + 2 x 10 Gb FCIP) and supports VRRP high availability protocol, RMON, SNMP 3, SSH-2, CLI Remote Management Protocol, ARP, ISL, Syslog, IPv6, Access Control List (ACL), RADIUS, Remote Switch Port Analyzer (RSPAN), Registered State Change Notification (RSCN).

Cisco MDS 9222i switch is a Rack-mountable with 3RU form factor and consists of 18 ports (18 x 4Gb Fibre Channel + 4 x SFP) and supports Telnet, SNMP 3 Remote Management Protocol and features from Modular design, auto-sensing per device.

Cisco MDS 9216 Switch has a modular design provides a 3 rack unit (RU) base system consisting of sixteen 2-Gbps Fibre Channel (FC) which can be expanded. Also has advanced management tools for overall lower total cost of ownership (TCO). The multilayer architecture helps enable a consistent feature set over a protocol-independent switch fabric, and easily integrates Fibre Channel, Small Computer System Interface over IP (iSCSI), and Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP) in one system.

This device supports up to sixteen 2-Gbps Fibre Channel links in a single PortChannel and uses VSAN technology for hardware-enforced, isolated environments within a single physical fabric; access control lists (ACLs) for hardware-based intelligent frame processing; and advanced traffic-management features such as Fibre Channel Congestion Control (FCC) and fabric-wide quality of service (QoS) to facilitate migration from SAN islands to enterprise-wide storage networks.
